## Nintendo’s Plan to Outsmart Scalpers for the Switch 2
Nintendo has a solution for the pesky issue of scalpers: make plenty of Switch 2 consoles!
Remember when the Nintendo Switch first came out in 2017? People couldn’t find them because scalpers bought them all up and sold them at way higher prices. But Nintendo says they’ve learned their lesson and plan to make enough Switch 2 consoles so everyone who wants one can get one at a fair price.
“We believe that the most important thing is to produce a sufficient number to meet customer demand,” said Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa. “We don’t want people to have to resort to scalpers.”
Nintendo also says they’re considering other ways to stop scalpers, like legal measures and regional restrictions.
Here’s the real kicker: they say the shortage of parts that’s been slowing down the production of many electronics is over.
So, they don’t expect any problems making enough Switch 2 consoles.
