Prison Officer Sex Video Investigation at HMP Wandsworth Raises Concerns
London, UK – Following the surfacing of a video apparently depicting a female prison officer engaged in sexual activity with an inmate at HMP Wandsworth, a full-scale investigation has been launched by the Metropolitan Police. As of now, no arrests have been made.
Despite the woman in the video not being formally identified, Daily Mail has reported that her name is Linda De Sousa Abreu and that she has recently resigned from her position at HMP Wandsworth. According to her sister, Andreina, she and her husband have appeared on Channel 4’s “Open House: The Great Sex Experiment,” which aired in 2023. The Mail also revealed that Abreu may have a private account on the adult streaming platform OnlyFans and described her as a “swinger,” with whom she had cut ties following the video’s release.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police stated that they had received the video titled “Sex Video Filmed Inside HMP Wandsworth.” An ongoing police investigation aims to determine the circumstances surrounding it. At this early juncture, the investigation has not resulted in arrests.
HMP Prison Service Acknowledges Incident and Reports Officer to Police
HMP Prison Service has corroborated the event and confirmed that the woman in the video is a former prison officer who has since been reported to the police. According to their statement, “staff corruption is not tolerated.”
