The path of totality for the 2045 total eclipse will cross a significant portion of the continental U.S., from California to Florida. The eclipse will start in Mexico and move east across the U.S., similar to the eclipse in 2017.

After the 2044 and 2045 total solar eclipses, the next total eclipses in North America will occur in 2078 and 2099.
