The USPB has its roots in a band founded by John A Hall Sr in 1922 after he emigrated from Cookstown, Northern Ireland. Originally known as the Philadelphia Ulster Pipe Band, it has been a beacon of Scottish heritage in the United States for over a century.
Under the leadership of Pipe Major Traci Cooper, the daughter of former band leader Thomas Hall, and current Pipe Major Eric Ouellette, the USPB continues to honor the legacy of its founders. Their performance at Wrestlemania showcased the indomitable spirit and musical artistry of Scottish pipe and drum bands.
Wrestlemania’s Blockbuster Event
Wrestlemania XL, the most recent installment of the WWE’s flagship event, broke records for viewership and fan attendance. The two-night showcase drew a combined 145,298 fans and amassed over 660 million worldwide views.
