Death in Paradise Star Ralf Little Mortified After Co-Stars Brand Him ‘Liar’

Star’s Embarrassing Hoodie Moment

Ralf Little, beloved star of the popular BBC drama series “Death in Paradise,” has been left feeling utterly embarrassed after his co-stars jokingly labeled him a “liar.” The incident occurred on Saturday morning when Little found himself in a rather blush-worthy situation involving his show’s hoodie at St Pancras station.

Unintended Attention

recounting the situation to his fans on Instagram, Little explained, “I went to the gym this morning and I put on this hoodie to keep me warm. It’s a Death in Paradise cast and crew hoodie. Now, I find myself in St Pancras station, which wasn’t the plan.” He continued, “It is suddenly really mortifying to be walking around wearing your own show’s hoodie. It’s very kind of like, ‘Ooh, notice me, notice me.'”

Hoping to avoid attracting attention, Little was sheepish as he admitted, “I have heard a couple of people go, ‘It must be him, he’s wearing a Death in Paradise top.'” Despite his concerns, Little received little recognition. “That said, it’s only a couple of people, and no one else seems to give a toss. Clearly, I’m not a big deal,” he reported with a hint of disappointment.

Co-Stars’ Ribbing

Little shared the hilarious episode with his Death in Paradise colleagues who ribbed him, suggesting he just wanted some attention. “I just sent that to a few of my mates who worked on the show with me,” said Little with an embarrassed laugh. “They were like, ‘Lies, you just wanted the attention.’ That just makes it even worse because it didn’t work.”

Neville’s Farewell

Fans were devastated last month when Little’s character, DI Neville Parker, sailed away into the sunset after four years on the show. Viewers were gripped as Parker made an emotional exit from the popular drama in the recent series finale, leaving Saint Marie along with Florence Cassell.

In a heartfelt goodbye video, Little called his time on the show a complete “privilege.” “It has been an absolute privilege and pleasure to bring Neville Parker to all of you and to share his really quite profound journey with you. I can’t thank you all enough for the support over the last four-and-a-half years as Neville heads off for new challenges and adventures, and I head off for new challenges and adventures,” he shared.

“When I look back at the time I spent on Death in Paradise, the way everyone took Neville into their hearts, it really has been one of the most magical and profound experiences of my entire life,” Little added. “If it wasn’t for all of you, I’d have never got to do it. So thank you, so so much!”

Show’s Future

As for the show’s future, Little remained mysterious. “What next for the show? Well, I couldn’t even tell you if I did know, but I don’t! I don’t know!” he exclaimed. “But what I do know is that the team that makes it, the producers, the writers, directors, all the crew, guest cast, and of course, my absolutely magnificent co-stars, they know what they’re doing, and the future is in good hands!”

“So I’ll be watching series 14 along with you guys with the same excitement you all will. I can’t wait to see what happens next!” Little concluded.
