Ahead of the arrival of her second child in January 2024, actress Sienna Miller embarked on a luxurious babymoon to the Maldives, where she indulged in some unusual pregnancy cravings. Describing her culinary adventures in The Sunday Times, Miller revealed that her suitcase was packed with Wotsits and Galaxy Smooth Caramel. Upon arriving in the Maldivian capital, Malé, she treated herself to chocolate and ice cream for breakfast.
Maternity Wardrobe Choices
Miller opted out of purchasing maternity clothes, instead choosing to wear jeans in larger sizes and wrap herself in bikinis, sarongs, and kaftans throughout her trip. She explained, “I wasn’t going to spend money on maternity clothes that I wasn’t going to wear again.”
Relaxation and Indulgence at Soneva Fushi
Miller and her partner, Oli Green, stayed at the exclusive Soneva Fushi, a 5-star island hideaway known for its tranquility and secluded beauty. They indulged in spa treatments, enjoyed a sunset dolphin cruise, and savored dinners prepared by a private chef. Despite being advised against it, Miller couldn’t resist indulging in sushi, knowing it was freshly caught.
Preparing for Fatherhood
While the trip was a relaxing getaway for the couple, Miller also recognized the importance of preparing Oli for his role as a new father. They participated in a bespoke hypnobirthing course with a doula, focusing on managing labor together. “Our doula showed us how Oli could support my birth, from pressure points to massage techniques,” Miller shared.
A Bonding Experience with Oli
Despite his upcoming responsibilities, Oli found time for leisure. He played football with former Chelsea and England footballer Graeme Le Saux, who was teaching at the resort. Miller valued these moments of bonding between her partner and the unborn child.
Red Carpet Debut and Cannes Activities
Miller’s babymoon memories serve as a reminder of the unique experiences that accompany pregnancy. She recently attended the Cannes Film Festival with her daughter Marlowe and Oli, marking Marlowe’s first red carpet appearance. While in Cannes, Miller has been busy promoting her upcoming film, “Horizon: An American Saga.”
