Amazon Prime Video has delighted its fans by revealing an exciting lineup for 2024. The streaming platform has announced a massive rollout of 69 new titles, including highly anticipated web series and movies. The diverse roster promises to cater to various audience preferences and genres.
One of the highlights is the inclusion of “Citadel: Honey Bunny,” starring Varun Dhawan, and “Call Me Bae” featuring Ananya Panday. Additionally, the lineup features Bhumi Pednekar’s “Daldal,” “Be Happy” led by Abhishek Bachchan, and Anil Kapoor’s “Subedaar,” among others.
Amazon Prime Video will also release 29 movies after their theatrical run. Rahul Dholakia’s “Agni,” “Bad Newz” starring Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri, “Family Star” with Vijay Deverakonda, and “Game Changer” featuring Ram Charan are among the films set to stream on the platform. Titles like “Ground Zero,” “Madgaon Express,” “Yudhra,” “Yodha,” “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya,” and “Ustaad Bhagat Singh” will also make their way to the streaming service.
The lineup includes several highly anticipated movies, such as Shahid Kapoor’s action flick “Ashwatthama: The Saga Continues,” Sriram Raghavan’s “Ikkis,” “Stree 2,” “Don 3” featuring Ranveer Singh, Kartik Aaryan’s “Chandu Champion,” “Kanguva” starring Suriya, “Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1” by Rishab Shetty, “Baaghi 4,” “Housefull 5,” and an upcoming project by Shoojit Sircar.
In a notable development, Boman Irani is set to make his directorial debut in Bollywood with “The Mehta Boys.” Reema Kagti’s “Supermen of Malegaon” and “Chhorii 2,” starring Nushrratt Bharuccha, will also be released, along with the Telugu films “Cheekati Lo” and “Uppu Kappu Rambu.”
The streaming service has also lined up eight original films, including Sara Ali Khan’s “Ae Watan Mere Watan,” scheduled for release on March 21.
The lineup of original series includes “Arabia Kadali” in Telugu, “Inspector Rishi” in Tamil, “Snakes and Ladders” in Tamil, and “Gangs Kuruthi Punal” in Tamil. Additionally, there will be a Telugu talk show, “The Rana Connection,” hosted by Rana Daggubati.
Uorfi Javed’s reality show, “Follow Karlo Yaar,” along with “Khauf” and “Gulkanda Tales” by Raj and DK, are also part of the offerings. Vijay Varma will star in “Matka King,” directed by Nagraj Manjule. The list also includes “Ma Kasum,” “Rangeen,” “The Great Indian Code,” “The Revolutionaries,” Pritish Nandy’s “Ziddi Girls,” and Sooni Tarporwala’s “Waack Girls.”
