Youtuber harshita singh is an IIT student, she misguided her subscribers, she lied about scoring 99.79 percentile in chemistry in JEE mains exams, also mentioned she has scored 97 percentiles over all. However netizen found her actual result which says different.
Her result shows she has scored only 93.9 percentiles, which is good but what was the reason of lying? Just to get attention is it right to misguide your followers?
JEE is already one of the toughest exam and students who appear for such exams are already under pressure it seems that she is putting pressure on them by making them believe that it is easy but it is really not.
After she was exposed by netizens, she did apologised and posted on her youtube as well, it was a apology with arrogance she mentioned “ Bro isse mere channel pe koi difference nhi aayegaa.. tum 500-1000 log mil ke soch re tumne bhot badi Controversy create Kar di hai then u are wrong. Ye mera sach tha and sach kabhi nhi badalta… And mere famous hone ki chinta mat kro, Better you focus on your work”
Students who were actually preparing and was angry commented on her post and she also lost lot of followers.
Really do not know why to lie to get followers truth cannot be hidden for so long, this is really wrong in so many ways, there are students who even lost their lives and making it look like everyone’s cup of tea does not makes it better, it makes the aspirants to put themselves in self doubt.
She did apologised with being arrogant to her subscribers. However it will not be easy from here to gain trust again.
It is kind of very trendy nowadays to get followers and subscriber by lying to people, they forgets that their lies might affect the aspiring students, their mundane audience.
