Director Sajid Nadiadwala has officially announced the green light for ‘Kick 2.’ The announcement was made through a social media post featuring a photoshoot of Salman Khan from the sets of his current project, ‘Sikandar.’
A Decade-Long Wait for the Sequel
‘Kick’ (2014) was a runaway hit, captivating audiences with its high-octane action and rib-tickling comedy. The film, adapted from Ravi Teja’s Telugu blockbuster, starred Salman Khan alongside Jacqueline Fernandez. Nadiadwala, who directed the first installment, also helmed this sequel.
With a budget of approximately 140 crores, ‘Kick’ raked in an impressive 400 crores at the box office, according to industry analysts. The film’s success solidified Salman Khan’s reign as one of Bollywood’s most bankable stars.
